The Plage Resort is located inside the Isola Bella Nature Reserve in Taormina, surrounded by maritime pines and fragrant gardens. It offers stunning views of the bay and the Etna, the highest active vulcan in Europe (3323 mt.).
Also known as the 'Pearl of the Ionian Sea' the Isola Bella was named after the German Baron Wilhem Von Gloeden who praised its beauty all over the world. In 1990 the Island was bought by The Department of Cultural Affairs. In 1998 it was proclaimed Natural Reserve and managed by WWF.

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, La Plage Resort is set directly on its free private beach, within the Isola Bella Nature Reserve. It features rooms and bungalows with garden or sea views. The cable car to the historic centre of Taormina is a 10-minute walk away.

All accommodations come with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. All rooms have a balcony or patio, and some bungalows offer a private garden with a hot tub.

The Fusion restaurant specialises in traditional Sicilian cuisine, made with local products. The bar serves international cocktails and spirits. An Italian breakfast is available daily.

La Plage provides a variety of beauty treatments and an outdoor massage gazebo. Expure Spa is complete with a Turkish bath, hydromassage showers, and chromotherapy.

Staff can organise excursions to Mount Etna Regional Park, 52 km away from the property. Parking is free.
