Set in a traditional building from 1227 facing Lake Valdaora and the Dolomites, Historic Hotel Alte Goste offers a free spa, a 1000-m² garden and a restaurant. It includes free Wi-Fi and mountain bike rental.

Facing the mountains or the lake from their balcony or terrace, Alte Goste’s rooms and suites feature modern Alpine-style design with carpeted or wood floors. Featuring a satellite LCD TV, they have a fully equipped bathroom.

The breakfast buffet is served also outside and includes cold cuts, cheese and fresh yoghurt, together with homemade cakes and jams. South Tyrol cuisine and Mediterranean recipes can be tasted in the restaurant.

Fishing licences are sold on site and hiking tours are organised 3 times a week. You can relax in the warm hay bath, Finnish sauna or solarium, but also book a massage or take a dip in the hot tub.

A bike trail connecting to Lienz, in Austria, and Lake Garda starts right outside. During winter the hotel’s free ski shuttle will drop you at the Plan de Corones slopes, an 8-minute drive away.
